2007 JCB 214E w/600 hrs. working in old bull tallow clay yesterday when tranny quit pulling fwd or rev. checked fuses and transmission fuse was bad; looked like element in middle had broken off; it was rattling around in the sleeve. replaced and worked another 2-3 hours when machine stopped pulling again. checked fuse and this time it had melted. something is up for sure. replaced fuse and drove it back to shed. all gauges were fine and no warning lights lit. got a service manual with it but any help on where to start or what to look for would be appreciated.

Unfortunately newer is not always better. All these electronic upgrades seems to have made newer equipment less reliable. I have a friend with a newer Case. He was driving down the road and one of the backhoe stabilizer pads decided to drop. He keep having the same problem for months before the dealer found a bad computer module or something. The old TLBs were a little less modernized but it seems more reliable.

Our 2000 214 E has stoped pulling forward and reverse a few times and it was in the hand shifter (bad shifter/ wore out) by steering wheel, and also in the button on the shifter and bucket joystick, the button stopped the machine from moving. Your's sounds like a short.
