Does anyone know if there is a repair part or procedure to repair the boom when the bucket bushings have been worn thru into the boom and egg shaped it?
I'm thinking of machining a steel sleeve and welding it in the boom to bring back the right diameter for the bushings.

weld up the bore, then line bore it to the correct size for the bushing. or you could oversize line bore it and then weld in a sleave for the bushing to fit into.

It better if you just stay with line boring it!!. The only reason you would bore it out to re-sleeve it is because the welding would be far more on cost then to just re-sleeve it, or they no longer offer that bushing.
