the fresh air filter is under the rear vents. to remove the cover press the ends in
and lift up. look down at filter and observe which way the arrow is pointing so you put it in the same way. take hold of the handle and lift it out.
there is a recirculation filter that is under the rear deck. pull on the two grips at each end to remove it. you may have to move the seat forward for more room.

just move it forward...not take it out, right?...the seat that is

you should be able to access both A/C , heater, filters with out taking the seat out.
