i borrowed a friends Case trench bucket to use on the Hitachi EX 50 i have, worked fine.

Providing the pins are the same diameter and the 'dipper' gap between the lugs on the bucket are the same then they should fit without causing excessive wear to your machine.
If you run a quick hitch then you will need to ensure that the pin centres on the backhoe buckets are the same as your current excavator buckets.
