Having issue with 580 sle backoe loader. Engine loads up when no hydraulics are being used but when loader lift and lower operated whilst driving the engine is able to rev freely. Hydraulic oil gets very hot.

Is there any electrically operated auxiliary valves fitted to the machine & possibly activated?
Some SLE's had a small aux lever next to the Backhoe controls. It has a swing around lock tab (item #15) fitted to hold the lever & valve open - sometimes someone has engaged that.....
Does it have extendahoe? Is the pedal free?

Thank you for detailed information and knowledge. Found issue to be a seized pedal for extendaboom. Grease nipple has not been greased in a long time.
