Have a stabilizer leaking fluid. Taking it apart to replace the seals. 1st problem: gland nut will only turn 1/8 turn with 48" pipe wrench and cheater. Peened/wrench. peen/wrench numerous times and finally got it unscrewed. 2nd problem: piston won't pull out of the cylinder, won't budge, can't rotate it in the cylinder. Got the come along out, hooked it up to truck and piston and pulled it out. Upon inspection of the piston it is bent. Time for a new piston rod.

well that sucks!

I am hoping you disconnected the hydrsulic hoses from the cylinder, or at least the back one. That will make it tough to get the rod out. It sounds like you have bigger problems tho. There is a recent conversation about straightening the rod on here. Can have one made as well.
