Case 60XT skid steer - hydraulic fluid

The hydraulic fluid on my Case 60XT skid steer is low and I need to add some hydraulic fluid to the reservoir. When I look at the specifications for this skid steer it says to use SAE 10W30 oil...isn't this "automotive oil" and not hydraulic fluid??? On all of my heavy equipment I've always used hydraulic fluid for the hydraulics.
