Our 850 (no letter designator---1967 model) has a six way blade. It was not originally equipped with it; looks like a 'shop' retrofit, due to the type and appearance of the welds on the back of the blade to mount the hoses at the coupler(?}. We wonder if it was done while owned by the state of Kansas. At some point, we want to eliminate the coupler and remove a leak source, but that's down the road. It does drip now, but we'll keep an eye on it. First, we got to get her back out of the field, where she stopped moving after trailing fluid while working trees. Our nephew works for Hampel (not sure on spelling), which sells just about any kind of fluid known to man, it seems. He's co-owner of the dozer---our farms adjoin, and we have plenty of work for 'Callie" between the two of us. Digging out an old pond, breaking a terrace to feed it, clearing fence rows of as many trees as she'll handle (need a cage for much tree work), pushing up a berm for shooting, repairing field washes and terraces, keeping the field road clear---she'll earn her keep! Nephew will check on proper fluid for transmission, good there's a long weekend coming! Plant flags and flowers.....

Thanks for info. Ours is mounted on the right side of the blade (about 18" from center) with a coupler. The metal to mount the coupler is rough and has heavy welds, which is why we think it was done much later. Maybe the original mount broke? haven't looked yet. The left cylinder looks original, like in the diagram. The guy who rebuilt the right one said it looks like it was modified in a shop, also. The left cylinder in the track is seeping, so it needs rebuilt, but has to wait for now. Getting her moving is priority now---we have more trees to move out!

That looks to be a very old machine, and with out a ROPS, every dangerous using to clear with.
The wrong branch could take the operators head clean off.
It looks like a C frame that I would never want. Need better pictures Welder Dave says.

I found a yard in Oklahoma that has ROPS for this machine. We do plan to put one on it, but will have to wait for funds to build. Did I mention we've retired in last few months? Still trying to figure out how that works---we're working harder now than when we had paychecks!
