Leave the convertor behind - undo flex-plate bolts from behind plate on bellhousing near where engine breather hose is located, just under engine cranking tool hole. (15mm socket req)
Then undo bolts around convertor.
The plumbing going to convertor will hold it in place - a tie down strap going through floor plates & attatched to grab rail could assist - if you want to remove convertor transmission & hyd oil oils will need to be drained
