I agree with that, I would also put down hungry enough.

Ain't nobody hungry nowadays

I'm hungry every day. My guys get after it. I work with lots of different companies, from 5 to 500 employees. And the good outfits all have guys that are sharp, and know how to run projects.

Maybe you just run in the wrong circles? Because I read threads here all the time, from semi retired, to 20 and 30 year olds, who are out there everyday, putting one foot in front of the other, getting the work done.

Don't paint them all with your brush.

Your in a pretty good spot, and there's plenty of them, but take all the workers/employees/unemployed out there, put them in a parking lot, and then try to find a worker like you have, it will take awhile.

Just about the only reliable way to find good help is newly released felons at a Oxford (sober) house, those guys are hungry.

Well I can say I was one of those, I worked 7 days a week for 20 years with Tate Transportation.
Missed a total of 2 Saturdays in that time. I chose to work that way because I felt it was what
was required to keep up. I was in the office just this Saturday morning and the owner plus two
guys in dispatch said--{ You were with out a doubt the fastest mechanic and best mechanic we've
ever seen and my dad {Ray} said the most consistent engine man he has ever seen or employed}.
And yes I was hungry. I remember the poor/hungry days on the farm, I'm in control of my
destiny and I never wanted to end up like that again.

I was always Hungry, as well Tired of struggling yet struggled with so much extra every day, is how I manage the projects I do today bumping toward 68. Extra Cash is always welcome where I do Earn every penny, I do/Will NOT screw off or around.

We have several Not So Hungry, ALWAYS Tired, always looking for a Freebie, two call in sick to work at least weekly, one just does not show up then as gets called says is sick. Employer cannot achieve continual growth workers, stated so as called me back as knew I would get it done, 'For Awhile'. Currently have myself as Part time sort of, have Three going to retire within next six to eight months, at least one perhaps two only working for the experience time to move on at the Two Year service mark. That of 18 total hourly Driver employees, have eight others run trash routes or excavation work and the two 'Techs' in the shop and NO they are not Mechanics.

And----some/most are in debt up to there ears, so they stay working in the same old lousy
environment they have been in for the last X amount of time. People hate change and
changing jobs is a big leap for most, the ones willing to bounce around either don't care
about anything stable or how much they owe or they are the type who owe very little and
can afford to make major career moves.

This just popped up on marketplace, is this a freaking joke? I don't care how much you spent or how "nice" it is, it's still an F-100, nothing special, nothing rare. Sometimes I feel like messaging these people just to say WTF is wrong with you buddy? $155K is as much as I paid for my house.....

.... and worth maybe half what they are asking
Here's the thing--anyone can ask a asinine price, what's really asinine is the ass who buys it.
But in saying that---maybe he likes buying asinine things--J.G. Wentworth-{It's your money
waste it the way you want!}

And to go with this talk--A little more than 10 minutes ago the door bell rang, a young guy
asking if I would sell my 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4L 4X4. {NO JOKE}. I just looked at him
and said {No I'm not really wanting to sell, I bought it in 2013 for $6,000 with 55,000 on it.
I just replaced the timing chains, injectors and a few other items last year. If I sold it what
would I buy, it does everything I need}. {I'll give you $8,000 for it} Still no. It's straight as
a pin and everything works.
