Straight as a pin, is why he wants it.
And no mid-eastern U.S. rust. Has 146,000 on it, trans serviced three times along with T case.
Drive axle oil changed twice, brakes 70%, new shocks, tires 75%. Ignition system replaced,
water pump, nox sensor and just bought new black/tan canvas seat covers. Only gets 20 mpg
but that is tops for one of these.-----and no payments.

The best part---- I trained the stereo to only seek classic rock stations, like the movie--
No Country for this Old Man.

I agree with that, I would also put down hungry enough.

Ain't nobody hungry nowadays

Doesn't mean it's a bad thing, i'm not hungry anymore, i've let many jobs go in the last while, I haven't done a job since January 2023 because I built myself a new house.

I worked my a$$ off in my mid 20's when I started my business and burnt myself out, because of that i'm very comfortable now and see no reason to continue to do so. I'm taking the whole winter to travel also and likely won't work at all for another 6 months asides from at my house finishing up landscaping, driveway, etc.

You can work as hard as you want but if you aren't smart with the money it's a waste of time. I'm planning to be semi-retired by 40 and work as I feel like it.

It's perfect! I can move the skid loader without all the big truck purists yelling about how there is only "one little wire" between my pickup and disaster . . .
Well then you better not mess around----$9,000 buys it on FB Vintage Truck Market Place.

I don't worry or care about the one little wire---I don't own a trailer.

Probably a 1211 CPL, low flow, step time control. One of the worst CPL's. It's a $25,000
dollar truck and that's stretching it. If it had a BCIII, early BBCIV or a Cat $30,000.
Mileage means nothing in this case. It sold new in 90 for average price of $70,000.
Right now average is 12 to 28K.

Truck prices have seemed to soften a bit. I’ve been looking at adding a second truck. When I bought my current truck I had been looking at a kenworth t380 with a 14’ stellar body. In the fall of 2023, the price was $302k. Same truck right now can be bought for $255k

Some change on Used here too, older trucks at the yard have been going to Auction, that may end as those prices dropped horribly.

Truck prices have seemed to soften a bit.
Came off the pandemic price hike, parts are available, manufacturing is running with no
maximum order control. But allot of trucks are high mileage for two reasons, emmisions
& no issues placing orders. A three axle no drop tractor is not hard to find--lots of them.
Used 4 axle with drop has taken a average drop of 14K no matter the brand.

The area where some are crying is 80's vintage--those prices were stupid to say the least.
Paid way too much for repowered chassis with 2 million, doesn't matter if it was rebuilt,
those values are starting to tank somewhat. Couple of items that most everyone can't do
without working A/C and cruise control---and cruise control is the big one.
Some are taking a bath.

There was a clown here in town that would buy those midwest freighter crap wagons, deck'em
and bring back to sell as {Farmer Bargains}. Funny part of that is every time a freighter goes
upside down the remnants are littered all about, dotting the landscape for years with eventual
mouse houses.

Are showing up at nearly every discount used machine lot around here too. Are Everywhere! Tons of junk sitting at bargain basement pricing, may not be worth that coin either. Fleet trucks are pretty well stripped down, low power and minimal gearing no amenity Terds.
