Cylinder packing

So ive pluged the hydraulic in and out to my wrist cylinder and done the test as suggested TD5 (thanks Man). The packing is shagged, so whats the score with packing is it generic sizing or make/model spesific ?

1988 Kobelco MD200BLC farm machine (in other works not a open cheque book job ;)

Cylinder specific. Most hydraulic shops should be able to get packing if not in stock.
