D330a Generator, fuel line gushing, need help!

Trying to remember if that valve the knob is on if it will come all the way out so you could try cleaning the tapered end that seals it in the casting or if you have to unscrew the hex nut part under that knob to get it off.

Could just be a little bit of trash or rust on the end of the needle that is causing it to drip.
