My boss bought a AGL EZ Dig Pro laser system for an excavator and the sensors were mounted to the machine. It never got calibrated and the sensors sat on the machine for about 5 years and were never use. We are now trying to set the system up again and the computer isn't able to pick up a signal from the sensors. All of the batteries were plugged in over the weekend but there is no way to see if they actually charged at all. Could the batteries just be shot from sitting for so long? Or am I doing something wrong in the calibration process to begin with? The only instructions are to "make a sensor sit horizontal." So I move the main boom so that it's sensor was horizontal and hit enter to search for it.
