Genie S-45 with Deutz engine, revs up when idling

So I have a 2015 S-45 Trax with the Deutz engine. Just got it recently and noticed that when you start it the motor revs up pretty high when idling, then revs down once you put your foot on the pedal to allow it to move. We also have an S-65 ( i think that is the model...) and had an S-45 and both of them did/do the opposite. They would idle low then rev up when you put your foot on the pedal to move it.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?
