Genie TMZ 50/30 towable boom hydraulics not working correctly

I just picked up a tmz50/30 and I’m having a problem with the boom extension. The boom extends correctly but when I raise the main boom up the boom retracts until completely closed then the main boom will start to move up. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Download the electrical schematic from Genie for your machine and see if there is a short causing the valve to open and the boom to retract is where I would start.
