Originally owned by Saunders & Sons as Unit #K50, hauling logs on the Island for years until operation was shutdown at Mac Millan in the 1980s.
From there it was purchased by Quintette Coal Mine in Tumbler Ridge BC, and used to haul Mine equipment until the operation shutdown. At one point the truck was repainted Green.

Finally Northland (Laprairie) in Tumbler ridge BC purchased the Truck/lowbed, restored and put back to work as a Support Truck for off highway hauling mining equipment for Canuma Coal. The lowbed that came with the truck is being restored, and I will share photos once it’s done! She’s a beautiful unit, and will be used for many more years!

Please comment if anyone has more information to fill in the blanks on the history of Unit K50, or any photos during Saunders time owning it!
