Anyone had to replace the bearings in the end of the roller tube of their brushcat mower? The bearings on ours went out today and I can't see a way to get the bearing out of the end. I'm wondering if the bearing assembly is part of the end of the roller and we'll have to cut the end off and weld on a new end? The only other option if they are a press fit would be to maybe put a rod all the way through the roller and beat on it from the other side??

If anyone has had these apart can you chime in??

If you can break the center bearing race or if its already gone, just weld a couple times around the inside of the outer race with a stick welder and the heat and pull of the weld will shrink the race away from the bore.
