We've just bought a 5 ton early 90's Samsung. I'd like to give it a full service before I start using it but am unsure what grade hydraulic oil to use. Would a fully mineral oil like Shell Tellus be the best bet? What weight?

Cheers for any advice,
Jim

Depending on ambient temps and work load those types of machines would run an ISO 46 or 68 hydraulic oil. So yes tellus46 or 68
Depending on volume etc you could start with a 68 and if you find the hydraulics are slow and the pump is hot then go to 46.
