Have a 1998 John Deere 670c road grader. Changed filter and fluid with correct fluid and filter. Runs for about 2 hours and then hydraulic reservoir temp fault comes on and return line and pump are extremely hot ? Any suggestions what to look for ?

did you check for debris in the filter? I would be checking the inlet and outlet of the hydraulic cooler with a temp gun for starters.

Pump is running around 210-220 when fault lights come on in cab per ifr. Return running around same temperature. All controls still work fine.
