A bigger track hoe would be my solution. Shake the dead trees from a distance.

Depending on soil condition, a tree puller may work. Mine works well in moist, loose soils. Dry soils don't bother.

1/3 Remedy with 2/3 diesel is my cut stump treatment. I only have time to cut trees in the winter so the cut stump treatment has to be non-freezing. My tree saw on my skidder also has a built in sprayer. I'm told there will be generic versions of Remedy next year, so don't stock up on the branded product. I mix a little bit of spray dye in the Remedy so I know where I've been. Bomgaars calls their dye Lazer.

Remedy is Triclopyr Ester. Been available as generic for years. 1/3 (33%) is overkill.
