Hi All
Does anyone here know what position the sight glass should be in while filling the oil in the vibrator shaft in the drum of a SD100D roller?

Thanks

I think that there is a piece of key stock welded on the drum. if you position the drum with the key stock at 6 o'clock you should be good to fill the drum. the site glass should be facing away from operator's station. if it doesn't have the key stock welded than position your drain plug at 6 o'clock with site glass facing away. hope this helps. we used mobil 629 synthetic lube.
