I have 2006 Isuzu 5.2 that has a cyl 4 misfire. It doesn’t have any white smoke on startup and doesn’t blow any coal under power. Occasionally the exhaust gets pretty hazy blue. I haven’t had a compression test done yet, but curious, how much blow by should be coming out of the oil fill cap on the valve cover? It’s enough to make the cap dance around when I unscrew and set it on and I can feel the crank case pressure puffing out pretty good when I put my hand over it.
Not a diesel mechanic, but I’m thinking there’s something more than an injector out on it.
I know the ol oil fill cap test is just an indicator and not as effective as a manometer or a compression test
