This is the book drawing, pump is at my hydraulic shop. It's a parker pump, and parker will make one for like$5,000. They probably sell it to grove for 4 and grove doubles the price. Shop is looking at aftermarket solutions.

On the hydraulic schematic, if you start at the bottom left, it's the upper one of the two pumps , "without disconnect ". Has the flow divider that runs to power steering gear. Pump #2.

You can use a 2 stage gear pump with a seperate priority flow divider / relief vavle to handle the power steering. I did this years ago on a Leturno artic truck. worked like a champ. Geartek in Corinth MS can probably help you with the pump.

We may end up going that route. I was up there today talking with them, and they are going to have a few options put together for me in the next couple days. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

New tool, it's a old used frame drill. I've always gotten by with hand drill , bridge reamers, or used mag drill.

I've got two axles to install, one through the triple frame mack. The other one has the flatbed installed, and I think this will be easier to drill with, rather than removing the bed.

Also got the planetaries and rear third member pulled. Found two broken bolts holding third member in. But everything else looked great.

One of the guys volunteered to go for a ride Friday and Saturday. There was someone selling a lot of big shackles and rigging, and the price finally dropped to where I was the buyer.

Of course it was in Texas, so my guy didn't have to do a lot of arm twisting, for me to let him go.

I haven't seen the stuff yet, but I bet he has a pickup full.

I wonder what refinery turn around is missing all their rigging? Haha. That’s good stuff.
I had that same exact thought. That some project, when it got done, all those gang boxes fell into someone's truck.

It has been for sale at a really high price, for over a year. So if it was stolen, the former owner has had plenty of time to find it.

Try flint hydraulics in Memphis for the pump. They can normally make it by the grove part number.
I got a pump from them once, it was not a great experience. After installation, and discovering it wasn't working, I disassembled it, and found that it was put together wrong. At least I think it was them in memphis. I'll have to look back.

I'm wrong, I think it was a different place. I'll give Flint a call tuesday and see if they can help. Thanks.

I don't know that I'd completely write them off based on that. I've gotten bad stuff out of the box from multiple places. Right now I've been sent the wrong part twice. They keep transposing the part numbers. 1275 is what I need. 1725 is what they keep sending.

I would however like to voice a separate complaint. Its gotten harder and harder to call a business, and actually talk to a person at that location.

I recently had a go around with a local rental car company, and the only way to talk to someone at that location, is to drive there and walk in the door. There's a local phone number, but it only gets you to a AI response, then a call center in southeast asia.

Years ago, you had to take the horse to town to talk to someone. Then the telephone eliminated that. Cell phone meant you weren't tied down to your own house, to call someone and talk to them. Now we are back to having to drive to town, to talk to someone. Ain't progress great?
