Making progress of sorts with this (insurance write off, Fire) We think the cause of their had been the earth leading burning out.

Current problem is the two electric motors, one for fuel shut off and other to set or reset the engine speed, perhaps someone is familiar in how they are supposed to operate so we can workout the wires?

Fuel shut off, three wires, assume one is ground, the other two are switched live depending if you want to start or stop the engine? So if that were the case should there be a switched live feed when you turn key to off?

The engine speed motor has five wires, two direct into the motor, live and earth? And three into the switch circuit, we wonder if these motors are somehow linked?

If anyone can shed any light that would be great.

Cheers
