My old F350 SRW was a Ex Union Electric Line service truck, winch on nose 460 4v, 4spd 4x4. As yours NO AC, crank windows, NO conventional radio, rode terrible even loaded, 8-9mpg on a good day. Reading body helped but NOT much, had a 12v motor driven Generator/inverter for 120vac, when it worked, ran that with a 1/2" electric impact until got a compressor, 2cyl/2st 8hp briggs power on a 20gal tank, would ALMOST keep up with a 3/4 drive, 1" gave it fits. Did have a REALLY Nice well battered brush guard up front!!

This was my dads old truck. 5500 GMC with a 4-53 Detroit. Talk about gutless wonder, throttle pinned everywhere you went. I remember riding with him as a kid couldn’t have a conversation just sit in that thing for hours and listen to it scream, but it put food on the table. He was in tall cotton when he put the Auto Crane on it.10E4F468-40F6-4723-8BAD-BBA07684B82F.jpeg
