Just acquired a tired old 420D for use around our farm and would like to obtain a service, parts and operator manual preferably in a PDF format. The ole girl still runs but need a good dose of TLC in a number of areas and any service and parts information would be helpful.

Manuals are the following Cat Publication Reference numbers. Search the usual internet marketplaces using these reference numbers.
Also try scribd.com. You may have to sign up for a 30-day trial membership to have the facility to download their pdf manuals.

The parts Manual is on scribd but it is an old version. CHG 09 where the current version is something like CHG 87 or thereabouts.
