Nylon pump flange on Cat 216

In the process of rebuilding the engine in my cat 216. I noticed that the flange that connects the flywheel to hydraulic pump is nylon. After some looking around here I see that many have changed theirs for an updated version. Mine looks in pristine condition, is there a reason to change it out?
