We had to make some pipes slide into the next size up pipe, so we invented this contrivance to clean out the inside, such as excess galv and or the weld etc.
Works pretty well, just hold on and didn't run at high speed and kept chuck not so tight to allow some slip in case it hung. Yes, we bent the teeth out just a tish.
Gives new meaning to pipe reamer term.

The original idea/concept was generally described to us and reported using the standard pipe, no mention of alloy. That is what this is.
The number & angle of teeth and the attachment of the rod are what we came up with. After cutting the tooth profile with a 4.5" handgrinder fitted with a cutoff wheel to some sketched lines, we took the 8" crescent wrench, fitted it up to just the tooth ht and applied a minimal mild bend to the outside. I think this is called 'set'?
As we were informed, since the material on the inside of the pipe is either mostly excess zinc plating or dirt or similar, it is not that critical as to exactly how it is made up. The grinder was held perpendicular although I am now thinking it could be held at an angle to make a better cutting profile on the tooth....possibilities for improvements always exist.
