Recently purchased a smithco 35 ton detachable neck lowboy. It needs alot of work, as of right now it has the 10.00x15 tires with the old snap ring Dayton wheels. Is there a way to convert these old wheels to regular budd style wheels? Or maybe just a way to convert them to a tubeless style Dayton wheel?

You can do either one. There are tubeless rims that will run a 17.5 tire or you can swap hubs to run a hub pilot wheel. Swapping rims and keeping the Dayton hubs will be cheaper. Depends how much you use it.

As noted 17.5s are direct replacement tubeless, just prior to purchasing check the back ears on the Dayton hubs for wear, make certain there is considerable gap from wedges to hub spokes and were appropriately getting tight or can spin the rims on hard braking. If need replacement hubs swap to Pilot Center.
