We have a Grove RT865B. Looking online I see they made the same model but an XL version? Does anyone know what the difference might be? Thanks

On a Grove in that vintage it's usually Xtra long boom. In your models case it goes from a rt865b having a 125' boom and a rt865bxl has a 138' boom. It also looks like they have different counterweight but the xl says 8500lbs and the b says 11500lbs so that doesn't really make sense. You would think it would be more boom more counter weight. If you go to freecranespecs.com you can look up a lot of load charts for different cranes.
