ASV 120f no restart

2021 ask 120f no restart after running machine for about 1hr or so let sit for 4to5hrs and might start most times will hav to sit over night anyone can help? dealer around hear is a joke called to drop off and was told they only work on yanmar even though I bought it from them
he said don't know what to tell you try to find someone else any how any help would be appreciated

I am not sure what a 120f is. Not sure if the other members know either. Maybe post the serial number or a picture of the tag on the machine and maybe someone will reply. Welcome to HEF.

That is a skid steer loader, correct.? Tyres or tracks.?

The ASV dealer that sold it to you won't work on it? Did you buy it new from this dealer? What brand of engine is it? I'd be contacting ASV and potentially the branch of gov't. that deals with consumer and corporate affairs if this is an ASV dealer. Even if they aren't they should look after you. A 2021 had to be fairly expensive.

I bought it brand new from them
anyhow trying to figure this thing out. started right up this morning ran it for 2hrs shut it off waited 5 min tried to start noting motor just turns over no smoke nothing no water in fuel full of fuel. but if I wait till this evening or tomorrow it will start ?
this machine has 415hr on it the problem started around 360hrs ago

Since it hasn't been moved yet I'll reply here. I'd give the dealer one more chance to fix it and if they give you any flack at all report them and talk to the ASV corporate office. It may still be on warranty by the hours. Even if it isn't is just horse **** from the dealer. There are some dealers that should have never been anywhere near equipment but a dealer like this takes the cake. Imagine if you bought a car and the dealer wouldn't work on it. It would be all over the news and the dealer would look like ****. Actually there was a Dodge dealer like that here. Chrysler refused warranty on a truck purchased at another dealer because the owner had no maintenance records. The truck was maintained though. The owner made up a big sign and stood on the median of the road in front of the dealer off the dealers property. It was on the news and the warranty was suddenly approved. Shouldn't have had to come to this.

That probably has a Cummins QSF 3.8, which is an electronically controlled engine, so diagnostics might have to be at a dealer if you don't have the right equipment.im not sure if those are OBDII or if they use some other sort of diagnostic system.

Is the dealer you bought it from still an ASV dealer? ASV merged with Yanmar in 2019.

This problem hasn't been solved in 55 engine hours! I'd be ringing ASV Corporate and confirming the conversation by email.

Yeah, 460 total hours isn't even broken in and would normally be warranty. Surely ASV must have some dealer requirements that have to be met.
