New to the excavator world.
Just wanted to see if there was many or any Australian Kobelco owners on the forum?
If so how what machine do you have and how have you found it?
Good machine?
Reliable?
How is the service cost?
How do you find getting spare parts and pairs carried out?

Any models to avoid?

Excellent machine, purchased new and I looked at just about all makes and it came down to Kobelco or Volvo but the Kobelco was better suited to my application. Very well designed and thought-out and a breeze to service. My only gripe is the controllability, the levers are very sensitive and the machine hydraulics super responsive which does make it jerky, the Volvo was leaps and bounds ahead of it in this department.
Another thing that stood out to me when inspecting was the undercarriage, thick beafy stacked up welds and just all round a stout build.

Kobelco sell at lot of machines in Aus and were #1 in 2023 for machines sold.
