    Deere 590D

I have no service records so I’m changing all oils and doing Oil samples on every compartment. All the joints are tight in the boom stick and dipper. Engine starts quick no smoke.

    JCB 805B

does anyone have experience or knowledge on the JCB 805B. Owner says the hydraulics are a bit slow. He thinks from wrong fluid or air lock that only could be in cylinders, or pump needs a rebuild. That could get expensive I might go look at it this afternoon

    Looking at a 1984 Jd 490

Looked at it yesterday she needs a little work besides bubbles in the rad when running probably head gasket, are these engines prone to this or cracked heads? Cyl 1 runs at 87F 2 & 3 180F cyl 4 140F possibly injectors. I put an offer in but a lot lower then asking price. Other then low on power...

Yes adding a thumb can get expensive. I'm a heavy duty mechanic. I can do the hydraulics. I will get our fab guys to do the welding. mitch504 AR500 I wasn't even thinking of that, we have some laying around. I guess my main concern is this a half decent machine or do they have issues.
