How much to charge for this repair?

Based on the hours it would have took from what some other members posted, it is about a 2 day job. Took me 15 hours not including drive time. (drive time is about 50 minutes one way) I havent billed them yet, but think $1,500 is a fair price. (I do alot of work for this company so we're flexible)

How much to charge for this repair?

Yes it is flate plate with welded bushings. Simple but not so simple. Have you ever had to call around the metal suppliers and try to get an uncommon size and in something stronger than A36? Yeah they can get it, its halfway across the country or further, shipping standard mail is gets real...

How much to charge for this repair?

It is available but parts like this are not on the shelf and are special order items. They probably need to be manufactured after ordering?.. Downtime is a huge expense! The project its working on is an investment and the investors are paying interest on a loan so every breakdown extends the...

    DPF emulators.

Do whatever you can to remove the emissions crap on your machine (once out of warranty) before it becomes an issue! The EPA has come out and admitted it is climate change bullshizz! Once it throws a code or two, the diagnostics and repairs + downtime are usually more than the price of a delete...

How much to charge for this repair?

Looking back I totally agree I should have removed it and took it to the shop! The other concern I had with removing it is the welding pulling the eye out of alignment and then I would never be able to get the pin back in! Yes I know to clamp it (weld in support bars to hold it in place) but...

How much to charge for this repair?

I cant edit the post now- but that was just initial fit up to see where im at. I did cut it out to an almost open root all the way down. That beam is really heavy I had to get it in position while I had help before the last guys left the jobsite. Once it was in position I tack welded the bottom...

How much to charge for this repair?

I wire wheel really good after each pass, so thats probably why your not seeing more discoloring. Also paying attention to interpass temps so its not too hot. about 6-7 hours prepping. And around 6 hours welding. Its a rather tight area in there and not a whole lot of room for movement, out of...

How much to charge for this repair?

So I'm fairly new to the mobile / on-site repairs and have mostly done smaller repairs in the shop. I know it's easy to say add xx amount to your hourly rate but I'm also looking for some estimates on how long this should have took to guage myself on efficiency. So, you experts submit your...

Looking for a DEF delete (john deere)

Hey all! New as a member but have found plenty of answers in the past on here. I did not see a thread specific to my question/ need, but did find similar others. And also did not find it to be in violation of any guidelines. And if that is correct, hopefully the mods can add this subject...
