    Opinions or insight Cat 903

Simon, Thank you again. I'll have someone check it out before I pull the trigger. Were these designed to be production machines or light duty pieces? I'm looking this and a few skid steers that were used to clean up under conveyors at a plant. They have been maintained but not loved. I was...

    Opinions or insight Cat 903

Hello all. Our area is forecast to have a cold wet winter so I am looking to pick up some relatively cheap equipment to go through over the winter to justify salaries. I'm supposed to go look at a package that includes a Cat 903 wheel loader. Can anyone tell me what to look for? Problem areas...

Wheeled skid steers for winter project

Crane Operator, They are both pretty rough. A friend of mine that is a mechanic/broker bought these 2 and an 1845C(?) from a landscaping company. I had the 75 brought back to the shop on the rollback. Exhaust manifold/muffler gone, no seat, some welds on frame, needs tires, hydraulics not...

Wheeled skid steers for winter project

Hello all, I'm feeling like we will have plenty of downtime this winter and am looking for some shop projects. I'm thinking of doing a complete rebuild of a Case 95XT and maybe a 75XT to give the guys work when we can't get out or while, increasingly, we wait for permits to be approved. We...

Hello. I bought an old (68649 sn) 518 and a 528c (798XX sn) from a local quarry for around scrap value. The 518 runs and functions fine with the exception of the front steer, greer lmi, weak brakes, and a small stabilizer cylinder leak. The steering problem is that it seems to turn fine to the...
