    P&H 312 Exavator

Nice job. Some of the dummies I work with wouldn't know what to do with the cab on the opposite side like the machines of today.

    Starlings time of year

Every year the buggers are trying to nest in the trolley of a rolling door in my shop! And their swauking gets annoying when I'm working in there so I fire up the 3-71 detroit in the ol galion grader and give them a little taste of pure detriot emisssions. The sqwauking seems to stop. But then...

Doe' anyone know where I can get a clutch and release bearing for a 512 Adams grader with a UD-14 IH engine in it. The release bearing went out in it last fall on a job and I figure I might as well replace the whole works while it is apart. Some help would be greatly appreciated as work is...

Looking at a couple of 12 cat graders.

Well thanks for the little bit of info you have given me. The reason I asked about cat 12 graders is there is a fellow locally that has about six or seven of them parked around the county and does pretty much all of the work around here and there does'nt seem to be much competition around...

Looking at a couple of 12 cat graders.

I have a small grading business that I do on the side. Starting to get a few big customers and the old 104 Galion is ready for retirement. There is a couple cat 12 graders available in the area. There older machines but are parts readily available for them and what should I look for when I...

    Some grading advice

Been running grader periodically for about 7 years. Got a couple of my own. I have trouble figuring out how to crown a narrow drive way. The adams has a 12' blade and the gallion has a 13' blade. I would sure love some advice from some more experienced grader men because I've tried everything...

    Stripping copper wire

Here in Ontario they'll report ya to the ministry of environment if you bring in burnt wire to the scrap yards. I dug a couple of miles of ditch along a major highway a got $1.50 a pound unstripped for phone cable. Couple grand in my pocket.

    Wain roy

Wainroys are great. Had them on a 510 B and a 310 SE. We had four or five buckets and a hoepack and breaker. Saves a lot of time and frustration.

    Hourly rates for small dozer

Here in southern Ontario we're gettin 85 an hour for an older 450 H. That's with operator. Pushin out trees and working in the woods is going to be hard work on your machine so you may want to consder that to. Hopes this helps.

Help identifying the year of this ford 9000

I pretty sure it's 85 or 86. I worked for a company that had an 86 88 and 89 and the 88 and 89 had the for circular emblem on the front where the 86 had ford stamped across the grill like the one in the picture. Hope this narrows it out a little for you.

I'm with buddy. If I was closer she'd be on a float and heading to Ontario. Although I would really have to sweet talk the wfe into bringing home that beauty.
