    urethane for gaskets?

    i have to rebuild a Doosan D24 it uses loctite 5900 for most all the gaskets. I was curious if anyone has used regular urethane like you would use on a windshield. I would think that would work great on the timing cover, split crankcase, and oil pan, any one agree?

    well, it's about 50-50 so far, a lot of people say just swap the center part of the vein pump 180. and the other pumps don't care what direction they are in. same amount say it cant be done.

    the kubota is externally balanced so you can not change the crankshaft pulley and the one that's on it is way too small to mount the pumps to. also running them off the front is just plain wrong.

    the small pump in the front does wrap around and tie into the filter. so yeah i believe thats the charge pump Plus its the only other pump there is .

    they are in a bobcat 720, it has a Wisconsin motor that runs off the front. so the pumps turn CCW. I want to repower it with a Kubota and i want to run it off the flywheel. so I need to figure out how to reverse the pumps

    i like the sound of that. from what i had read the hole wasn't big enough to allow for that. working on it now will up date. yes the bearings are gone. it had water in the chain case. like 8 gallons of it.. glad i got it at good price.
