D8H Salt track Oil
You can see oil residue, source area from pin and bushing. When I removed the metal banding some of it was jammed up in to where the bushing enters the link. Warranty is not an option where ive waited so long to install. Might be SOL. Thank you guys. -

They are brand new.. albeit i had them sitting for a few years stacked on top of each other as i compiled resources and time to do the job. The rubber plug is weathered if I recall. Sounds like i might need to look into that one bushing being resealed. Ill get pictures next time im at the... -

Got the new UC on. Notice oil leaking from around the bushing (inside the link) where the metal banding was wrapped around keeping the chains rolled up for shipping. I imagine seals got damaged. Can oil be added through the outer rubber plug. None of my old manuals mention this. -

It was totally fine and was being worked regularly. Now it has sat for about a year while I rebuild the ripper cylinders and was deployed for a long time. So now I’m finally getting back to it and this was what I noticed. I’ll drain it off and go from there. Thank you! -

Changed my transmission fluid/filters/screens…. Went to change finals fluid and filter and the oil level is above the fill level… odd. Any idea on what I did wrong or what is wrong. When changing tranny fluid. All fluid was drained from plug on bottom of machine… no side plugs were opened. -

D8H undercarriage replacement advice.
I got most of the new undercarriage from various equipment auctions and sellers who had them as spares for their D8.. I figured my stuff was pretty worn out. Since I got a complete undercarriage I might as well replace it all. And start fresh again. See pictures for what my machine looks like...
