    1998 CAT IT28G Loader - 2nd Gear not working

    I have a 1998 CAT IT28G loader S/N 8CR02242 , currently when you switch the machine into 2nd gear nothing happens (both forward and reverse), no noises, etc. All other gears work with no issues both in forward and reverse. Any direction on where to start troubleshooting this issue?

    Serial # 1HF00566 Yes air is coming out of the safety valve on bottom of the air tank. I did order a new relief valve earlier, so I'm hoping thats all that it is and its not building up enough pressure to activate the brakes. It that doesn't work, I'll resort to the governor as you stated...
