    Saved from scrap

Found out about this 955H recently near me. Had been sitting for 10 years, typical "ran when parked". Some fresh fuel, batteries and a new starter(bendix wouldn't engage) and it fired up. Someone slammed the wrong sprockets on that's on the list. Its a powershift with hand/foot steering

Just wondering who does tank removal? What crudentials (if any) do you need in your state/town? Hyundai Excavators

Just wondering if anyone has a Hyundai excavator? My friend just bought one at Conex through a dealer, he bought a brand new 290 which is around the same size as a Komatsu 300. The price was over $100k less for the same size machine, and Hyundai's warranty was 3 years vs Komatsu's 1 year...

Just wondering who runs hammers on their machine or rents machines with hammers? My boss rented an Akerman 200(23 ton machine) with a 3500 lb hammer for a week. We had to hammer out part of a hill for a house and also hammer out an area for a pool. I ran the machine for a few days, its...

    Who has what?

I was just running a Kobelco 45 (around 10k lbs) today moving some brush and large tree stumps around. My friend was clearing an area and we also had a komatsu pc200, but for pushing stumps into the stump pile and moving around the wet dirt, the mini was perfect. I figured i'd ask who here has...

    Ratcheting or Snap Binders?

Just wondering what every ones to secure machines down? The person i was working for used ratcheting chain binders. While it may be a little slower to use than a snap binder, it is a lot safer. Two people i know have gotten their faces hit when the snap binder didn't want to stay. One has...
