    We have a 420D that keeps blowing fuses for the for wheel drive. It will work for a little then the fuse pops. im thinking the actuator that would be on the transfer case but cant seem to find anything in the service manual just the switch and the relay but not where it goes from the relay...

    Hey Bob ..... Just got in machine is all better thanks to you and some help from the local cat dealer...... It was the solenoid ..... A few hours work and $100 part and we are up and running again ...... Thanks again..... KCCO As well dickjr you rock...

    we have a 420e with hydraulic lock out stuck on the machine was working when the rear hydraulic stoped working like the switch was turned on got it to work long enough to get the outrigers up a bit to move it now its in the back yard with 1 outrigger almost on the ground and the boom half way...

    we have a 420E with no brake lights checked all the routine stuff bulbs/fuses/relays fuse directory does not indicate witch fuse for brake lights but all are good checked switches on pedals both are moving but did not remove and test (looks like you have to remove entire dash) any one have any...
