We have a 420D that keeps blowing fuses for the for wheel drive. It will work for a little then the fuse pops. im thinking the actuator that would be on the transfer case but cant seem to find anything in the service manual just the switch and the relay but not where it goes from the relay. Anyone have any ideas Thanks BB

Could be but dont forget to Look for a chaffed wire anywhere between the fuse and the actuator, even follow it through the switch and all. ;)

any idea where the actuator is must be on top of the trans cant see anything from below but can feel some stuff when i reach my hand up to the top thanks BB

Yes on top on left side. The front small one is diff lock and the rear one is 4wd. The 4wd is right below the shifter solenoid.
