    Excavator Backlash

    I have severe side to side lash on my IHI 17NE. Its hard to do jobs close to a house or other important things. What would cause this? How do I fix this? I have about 18" or more side to side lash at the bucket. When I let off from rotating, it just stops instantly and slops back and forth...
