1974 Case 580B Ring Gear

Hello Hello … the old Case made a baaaad sound the other day so I tore it apart and found the ring gear is not happy … can anyone give me the basics on replacing it? I’d imagine start with pulling the rear axles (the easy part) but then how do you get the ring gear off of the brakes/diff? Any help would be amazing, I’m not a heavy equipment mechanic but willing to dive into this to save the old girl from the scrap yard

I'm tackling the same issue the ring gear appears identical to mine missing teeth and all. Also I see we snapped the same bolt off on the cover plate. How did your repair go?
