Engine shutdown for no apparent reason at very low speed low rpm. Like shifting from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3. Idles perfectly. Restarts perfectly. Will run for several minutes at low speed before doing this again but always when under load. I haven't run it on the road at high speed since this started for fear of getting stranded on the road but had been running good at all speeds up until today. Thanks

WWW.
The fuel shut off solenoid on top of the PT injector pump can cause this problem. There is a thumb screw to turn it over to manual located on the front /top of the pump.
Turn that screw in and see if it stays running. ** Engine will not shut off with the key in this mode you will have to turn the screw back out to kill engine with key**.
Those shut off solenoids can go bad at any time. Also check the power wire to the solenoid. Did you check your fuel filters and fuel lines? Fuel hoses on a truck that
old can give you problems.

Thanks, I'll try that. The fuel lines have already been replaced a year ago as well as the injection pump being rebuilt by Cummins. Thanks again
