700J false coolant over temp.

700J stop light on, the check service code light off and coolant engine temp guage at maximum, but the actual temp of the block on the right side below the head is at 160 F. The top of the radiator is cool to touch, and the radiator cap can be opened without fear of scalding. JD dealer said to see if there's any codes by cycling the select button between hours and voltage until codes appear, but no codes show up. When turning key on all dash lights and guages cycle as they should.Should also add. The problem will go away in an instant and you can run the rest of the day without issue.

Sounds like an engine temperature sensor issue, or a wiring issue to the sensor. On some occasions with the older DE10 fuel systems, the original engine controllers had issues with the coolant temp circuit.
