Hey guys, has anyone done a cylinder leak down test on an old 3408? Or a better way to test for a blown head gasket or cracked head?

A cylinder leak-down test usually only indicates if the rings are poor or the valves are not sealing. A compression test should tell you if a head gasket is leaking between cylinders. Pressurizing the cylinder with air may tell you if the head is cracked. Pressurizing the cooling system may indicate if the head is cracked or if liner o-rings are leaking into the crankcase or if a liner is cavitated but that also involves pulling the oil pan and observing where the coolant is dripping from
