416B bucket valve stuck

Hi all,

I have a 416B (8SG02202) when I turn the machine on the bucket rolls closed and will not release. The spool on the valve body at the joy stick will only go one way, before I take time to remove the floor to get to that spool and pull that spool from the valve body I wanted to ask if I need to look anywhere else first?
