490e hydraulic oil leak

I have a 1994 John Deere 490e excavator. Great machine with about 5800 hours on it. Last year I pulled the swing gearbox and replaced the lower seal. This year I have a major hydraulic oil leak showing up around the swing bearing. I thought it would be the Rotary manifold so I pulled it out, replaced the seals and put it back in. Could be my imagination but it seems to be leaking worst but who knows.
So the way I understand this, there are only 2 options where hydraulic oil can come from in that area. The swing motor and the rotary manifold. If it was the swing motor leaking, it would show up in the swing gearbox oil level. That is at the same level it was last year when I rebuilt it and clearly gear oil. So that leaves the rotary manifold as the culprit. I don't know how but maybe I screwed something up putting it back together.
Is there any other place this leak could be coming from in that area?
Thanks for you help.

You can drain the oil from the open swing gear cavity by removing a cover on the bottom of the X frame close to the rotary manifold. It's oval shaped and about 4-5 inches long and is attached with two screws. Be careful removing it, I've gotten drenched in oil more than once doing this. There's another cover just like it on the top side ( it's either accessible from inside the toolbox or between the toolbox and mainframe. After getting all the oil you out of the open gear you need to add grease to the open gear through the top access plate. It could still be the manifold but getting the oil out of the swing gear and getting the grease back in the open gear needs to be done anyway.
